Genuine HJS 200-Cell Catalytic Converters

The system uses German-made HJS 200-cell EURO 6 EC-certified tri-metallic catalytic converters. Fabspeed increased the piping size on both the engine side and exhaust side of the catalysts to reduce restriction and improve exhaust flow.

These are not the same catalysts used in Fabspeed's standard C8 Stingray Sport Cats. Fabspeed specifically developed the Z06 version around a larger catalyst to provide greater surface area and flow capability for the higher-output LT6.

The freer-flowing 200-cell catalyst design helps reduce the restriction created by the factory catalytic converters, allowing the LT6 to breathe more efficiently.

Exotic LT6 Sound

The Sport Cats significantly increase the presence of the Z06's flat-plane-crank exhaust note while retaining catalytic converters.

Fabspeed describes the resulting sound as higher pitched and substantially louder, with a rawer character as the LT6 approaches the upper end of its RPM range. Pops and burbles are also noticeably enhanced.

Direct Bolt-On Installation

The Sport Cats are engineered as a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory C8 Z06 catalytic converters, allowing the factory components to be replaced without requiring a custom exhaust system.
