The factory ZR1 intake architecture shares much of its basic design philosophy with the naturally aspirated Z06 platform. Fabspeed developed this system specifically around the much greater airflow demands of the twin-turbo ZR1 powerplant.

Dual 6-Inch High-Flow Filters

Airflow is handled by a pair of oversized 6-inch / 150mm cone filters equipped with integrated velocity stacks.

The large filter surface area and velocity-stack design are intended to maximize airflow into the system while maintaining effective filtration and intake efficiency for the LT7's high airflow requirements.

CAD & CFD Optimized Airflow

Fabspeed developed the system using both CAD engineering and Computational Fluid Dynamics, allowing the intake path and internal geometry to be optimized for reduced restriction and increased airflow compared with the factory system.

The result is a purpose-built intake system designed to supply the twin turbochargers with a greater volume of cool ambient air.

Premium Carbon Fiber Airbox
