High-Flow 3-Inch X-Pipe Design

At the center of the Supersport system is a full 3.0-inch / 76mm exhaust path designed to let the LT2 breathe more freely than the factory system.

The X-pipe connects the two exhaust banks and gives the C8 a more distinctive exhaust character, combining the deep muscle-car tone of the LT2 with a sharper, more exotic sound as RPM increases.

Aggressive Valveless Sound

Unlike Fabspeed's Valved Maxflo system, the Supersport is built for drivers who want the aggressive exhaust note all the time.

At idle and cruising speeds, the system produces a much more authoritative V8 rumble than the factory exhaust. Under heavy throttle, the X-pipe changes the character dramatically, bringing out a louder and more exotic LT2 growl.

38 LB Weight Reduction

The factory C8 NPP exhaust weighs approximately 76 lbs / 34.5 kg. The Fabspeed Supersport removes approximately 38 lbs / 17 kg, cutting roughly half the weight of the factory NPP system.

T304L / 321 Stainless Steel Construction

The system uses 3-inch T304L / 321 stainless steel tubing and flexible bellows, manufactured in-house by Fabspeed Motorsport USA.

CNC mandrel-bent tubing provides smooth transitions through the exhaust path, while the included thermal shielding uses amorphous silica fiber wrapped in 321 stainless steel to help control heat around the C8's mid-engine powertrain.

Exhaust Tip Options

Choose from several available tip configurations:

This allows the exhaust appearance to be matched to the overall style of the vehicle.

AFM / NPP Recalibration Note

Fabspeed recommends operating the vehicle in 8-cylinder mode to minimize the possibility of a Check Engine Light.

After installation, the C8's AFM and NPP systems may require recalibration if a CEL appears. A GM dealer can perform the procedure using GM Document 5406413, or it can be completed with a professional scan tool that supports the required recalibration procedure.

Installation

The Supersport X-Pipe is designed as a direct bolt-on exhaust system with no cutting or welding required. Professional installation is recommended.
