The Fabspeed Valved Maxflo Exhaust System delivers a more aggressive, free-flowing exhaust setup for the C8 Corvette while retaining the functionality of the factory NPP exhaust controls. With the valves open, the system delivers an aggressive V8 exhaust note; close the valves and the system becomes significantly more restrained for cruising and neighborhood driving.

Dyno-Proven Performance

Compared with the factory NPP exhaust with both systems' valves open, Fabspeed recorded peak gains of 4 WHP and 6 lb-ft of torque.

The difference becomes considerably larger with the valves closed. Fabspeed recorded 11.5 WHP and 10 lb-ft of peak torque gains, with gains across the curve reaching as much as 14 HP and 15 lb-ft of torque. This allows the Maxflo system to maintain strong exhaust flow even when operating in its quieter valve setting.

Factory NPP Valve Integration

The system uses plug-and-play exhaust valves designed to function with the Corvette's factory NPP exhaust controls. This allows the driver to continue changing the exhaust character through the vehicle's factory settings rather than relying on a separate aftermarket remote.

Open the valves when you want the full aggressive exhaust note, or close them when you want a more restrained sound for cruising.

20 LB Weight Reduction

The factory NPP exhaust weighs approximately 76 lbs / 34.5 kg. Fabspeed's Maxflo system reduces that weight by approximately 20 lbs / 9 kg, removing significant mass from the rear of the vehicle.

3-Inch High-Flow Construction

The Maxflo system features 3.0-inch / 76mm T304L and 321 stainless steel tubing, with components manufactured in-house by Fabspeed Motorsport USA.

CNC mandrel-bent tubing provides a smooth exhaust path, while the larger-diameter design allows the LT2 V8 to breathe more freely. The system also incorporates high-temperature heat shielding constructed from amorphous silica fiber wrapped in 321 stainless steel to help manage exhaust heat in the C8's tightly packaged mid-engine layout.

Aggressive Valved Exhaust Sound

Fabspeed designed the system with two distinct personalities. With the valves open, the C8 gains a deeper, throatier American V8 sound with an exotic character introduced by the X-pipe design.

Closing the valves produces a more restrained exhaust note for highway cruising, city driving, or situations where maximum volume isn't desired.

The system uses a quad-tip configuration to complement the factory C8 rear-end design.

AFM & Valve Recalibration

Two AFM simulator plugs are included. Fabspeed recommends operating the vehicle in 8-cylinder mode to minimize the possibility of a Check Engine Light.

Following exhaust installation, the C8's AFM and NPP exhaust valves may require recalibration if a CEL appears. This procedure can be performed using a compatible professional scan tool or by a GM dealer using GM Document 5406413.

Installation

Designed as a straightforward bolt-on replacement with no cutting or welding required. Professional installation is recommended.
