Functional Rear Aerodynamics

This diffuser was developed as more than a cosmetic rear-end upgrade. Verus utilized aerodynamic analysis during development to extract additional performance from the available space underneath the C8, increasing downforce while keeping the corresponding increase in drag minimal.

The resulting design is intended to reduce lift, improve aerodynamic efficiency, and increase available tire grip at speed, making it suitable for both performance street builds and track-focused C8s.

CFD-Optimized Design

The diffuser's geometry was developed using CFD analysis rather than being designed purely around appearance. Its shape is intended to better manage airflow exiting from underneath the vehicle, contributing to improved rear aerodynamic performance.

Verus reports that track testing with the diffuser resulted in improved straight-line and cornering speeds along with reduced lap times.

2x2 Twill Carbon Fiber Construction

The diffuser features 2x2 twill carbon fiber construction finished with a high-gloss automotive clear coat designed to provide UV protection while showcasing the carbon weave.

The assembly uses CNC laser-cut brackets and stainless steel hardware for a strong, precise installation.

Non-Invasive Bolt-On Installation

The diffuser is designed as a non-invasive bolt-on upgrade that requires no permanent modifications to the vehicle. Vehicle scan data was used during development to achieve a precise, near-OEM fit and finish.

It works with the factory exhaust as well as aftermarket exhaust systems that remain within the OEM exhaust space. Exhaust systems extending outside the factory space may require modification for proper diffuser clearance.

Complete Aero Package

The rear diffuser can be paired with Verus front splitters, side splitters, and rear wings to create a more comprehensive aerodynamic package with functional downforce across the vehicle.
