The Verus Engineering Carbon Polyweave Front Splitter Kit is a functional aerodynamic upgrade engineered to substantially increase front-end downforce on the C8 Corvette Stingray. Developed using vehicle scan data and CFD analysis, the splitter creates a large pressure differential between its upper and lower surfaces to generate downforce without a significant increase in drag.

High-Downforce Front Aero

Front splitters generate downforce by creating a pressure difference between the upper and lower surfaces. Verus developed this splitter using direct vehicle scan data and CFD analysis, optimizing it specifically around the C8 chassis.

The result is a high-downforce front aero solution designed to work especially well with aggressive rear aerodynamic packages, including large rear wings.

300+ LBS Load Capability

The splitter is designed to handle more than 300 lbs of aerodynamic load, making it suitable for serious track-focused C8 builds where the front aero package needs to withstand substantial forces at speed.

Rather than relying solely on the bumper, the splitter mounts at multiple chassis locations to create a strong and durable mounting structure. Hardware locations are also recessed to reduce unnecessary aerodynamic disturbance.

Carbon Polyweave Construction

Instead of conventional carbon fiber, ABS, or aluminum, the main splitter is manufactured from carbon polyweave, a material used in multiple forms of professional motorsport.

The material combines low weight and stiffness with increased durability and abrasion resistance. It is designed to resist the cracking associated with more brittle carbon fiber and ABS components while also avoiding the tendency of aluminum splitters to grab surfaces and bend underneath the vehicle.

Carbon Fiber Air Dam

A 3-piece carbon fiber air dam is integrated into the package to bring the splitter surface flatter with the C8's underbody. This helps better manage airflow underneath the vehicle and further improves the effectiveness of the splitter.

Track-Focused Construction

The system uses CNC-cut and bent brackets along with stainless steel hardware throughout. Combined with the multiple chassis mounting points, the assembly is designed to remain rigid under the aerodynamic loads generated at speed.
