Designed for closed-course competition applications, these Competition Cat Bypass Pipes replace the factory catalytic converters on the 2020+ Chevrolet Corvette C8 6.2L LT2 with straight-through piping for maximum exhaust flow, reduced weight, and a dramatically more aggressive exhaust note.

Using 3D laser scanning and CAD development, the system is designed around the C8 exhaust layout for a direct bolt-on installation while incorporating dedicated heat shielding to help manage temperatures around surrounding components.

Maximum Exhaust Flow

The factory catalytic converters are replaced with unrestricted straight-through piping, reducing restriction in the exhaust path and allowing the LT2 V8 to evacuate exhaust gases more freely.

Removing the factory catalytic converter assemblies also saves approximately 17 lbs / 8 kg, reducing weight from the C8's exhaust system.

Aggressive Competition Sound

These pipes are intended for customers seeking an uncompromised exhaust character from the LT2. Eliminating the factory catalysts substantially increases exhaust volume and allows more of the engine's raw V8 tone to come through.

Heat Management

Because exhaust temperatures are an important consideration within the tightly packaged C8 engine bay, the pipes incorporate heat shielding manufactured from amorphous silica fiber and wrapped with 321 stainless steel.

Installation
