Upgrade the front end of your Shelby with the Type-GT5 Double-Sided Carbon Fiber Hood, engineered specifically for the GT350 and GT350R platforms. Precision hand-crafted by Anderson Composites, this hood delivers race-inspired styling, improved heat extraction, and significant weight reduction—without sacrificing OEM-level fitment.

Manufactured using a vacuum-infused process with premium 3K 2x2 twill carbon fiber, this hood offers an excellent carbon-to-resin ratio for increased rigidity, strength, and long-term durability. A marine-grade gel coat with UV inhibitors is applied and polished to a deep, high-luster gloss finish, protecting the carbon fiber from fading and environmental damage.

The Type-GT5 hood features an included GT500-style center vent, specifically designed to improve heat extraction for the GT350 engine bay. A removable fiberglass rain tray is also included, allowing flexibility for street or track use.
