Factory-Controlled Valved Exhaust

One of the biggest advantages of this system is its integration with the factory ZR1 exhaust controls.

Rather than using a separate remote-controlled valve system, Fabspeed uses Helical UK electronic exhaust valves designed to work with the Corvette’s factory valve actuators. This allows the exhaust to continue responding to the vehicle’s original exhaust loudness settings, drive modes, and Z-Mode.

Valves Open: Maximum exhaust volume with a much more aggressive character and high-pitched X-pipe sound.

Valves Closed: Significantly quieter cruising characteristics with Fabspeed describing the system as drone-free and comfortable enough for normal conversation inside the cabin.

Signature Cast X-Pipe

Fabspeed incorporates its signature cast X-pipe to merge the two cylinder banks.

The design is intended to improve exhaust scavenging while reducing unwanted resonance, while also contributing to the sharper, higher-pitched exhaust character of the system.

20 LB Weight Reduction

The complete system saves approximately:

-20 LBS / -9.1 KG

compared with the factory ZR1 exhaust system, reducing weight at the rear of the vehicle.

Premium Construction

The system was developed by 3D scanning the complete OEM exhaust, creating a digital model that Fabspeed used to design the exhaust and its manufacturing fixtures around factory mounting locations.

The exhaust features mandrel-bent tubing, CNC-machined valve mounting plates, and high-temperature thermal protection designed to help control temperatures within the C8's tightly packaged engine bay.

Exhaust Tip Options

Depending on configuration, the system can be equipped with:
