Turn the C8 Z06 into a much more aggressive, race-focused machine with the Fabspeed Supersport X-Pipe Cat-Back Exhaust System. Designed around the high-revving 5.5L LT6, this system delivers major weight savings, improved exhaust flow, and a far more exotic exhaust note through Fabspeed’s signature X-pipe design. Fabspeed lists gains of +18 HP at the crank, +19 lb-ft of torque, and a 35 lb weight reduction compared with the factory muffler assembly.

Dyno-Proven Performance

Fabspeed reports that the Supersport system provides approximately:

+16 WHP
+19 LB-FT WTQ
+18 HP at the crank

When tested together with Fabspeed Sport Cats, the combination produced gains of up to 30 WHP and 36 lb-ft of torque at 4,600 RPM, with peak output increasing from 640 WHP to 666 WHP. The additional gains specifically attributed to adding the Supersport exhaust over the Sport Cats alone were 16 WHP and 19 lb-ft in the midrange, with an additional 7 WHP at peak.

Signature X-Pipe Design

At the center of the system is Fabspeed’s signature cast X-pipe, designed to merge the two cylinder banks for improved exhaust scavenging and smoother flow.

Combined with the freer-flowing piping, the design allows the LT6 to breathe more efficiently while producing the sharp, high-pitched character expected from a race-oriented Z06 exhaust.

35 LB Weight Reduction

The Supersport system removes approximately:

35 LBS / 15.9 KG

compared with the factory muffler assembly, cutting a significant amount of weight from the rear of the vehicle.

T304L Stainless Steel Construction

The system is constructed from mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel, providing durability, corrosion resistance, and smooth exhaust flow while maintaining a lighter overall design than the factory exhaust.

Aggressive Race-Inspired Sound

This is the loud, aggressive option in the Fabspeed Z06 exhaust lineup.

Fabspeed describes the Supersport system as an all-out race exhaust, delivering a deeper and more authoritative idle followed by a pronounced high-pitched wail as the LT6 climbs through the RPM range.

Because this is a non-valved performance system, Fabspeed also notes that some interior drone should be expected.

Electronic Valve Simulators Included

Since the factory muffler and valve system are removed, Fabspeed includes electronic exhaust valve simulators designed to prevent valve-related fault codes and Check Engine Lights.

The system allows you to:

Installation

Designed as a direct bolt-on system with no cutting or welding required. Fabspeed developed the exhaust using 3D scans of the OEM system to maintain accurate factory mounting geometry.
