The conversion requires the commonly used D1405 brake pad shape, identical to the factory iron-brake C8 Z06 configuration.

The Girodisc two-piece floating rotor design reduces unsprung weight while improving heat management, braking consistency, and long-term serviceability. Each rotor features a reusable 6061-T6 aluminum hat paired with a proprietary high-carbon iron rotor ring engineered for superior durability under aggressive driving and repeated high-temperature use.
