Verus Engineering C8R UCW Rear Wing Kit - C8 Corvette

The Verus Engineering C8R UCW Rear Wing Kit combines functional motorsport aerodynamics with a C8R-inspired design for the C8 Corvette. Developed using CFD analysis and vehicle scan data, the UCW rear wing is engineered to generate meaningful rear downforce with a relatively small drag penalty while providing extensive adjustability for different track setups.

CFD-Optimized Aerodynamics

The UCW rear wing was developed using advanced aerodynamic analysis to extract additional performance within the available packaging space. The goal was to increase rear downforce while minimizing the corresponding increase in drag, resulting in improved overall aerodynamic efficiency.

On track, the additional rear aerodynamic load is designed to increase tire grip and stability at speed. Testing cited for the wing also reported improvements in stability and cornering speed.

0–15° Adjustable Angle of Attack

One of the UCW wing's biggest advantages is its adjustability. The main airfoil can be adjusted from 0 to 15 degrees, allowing the amount of rear downforce to be tuned for different tracks, vehicle setups, and driver preferences.

The wing endplates are also adjustable, providing additional flexibility when configuring the rear aero package.

Pre-Preg Carbon Fiber Construction

The 63-inch main wing element is manufactured from premium 2x2 twill pre-preg carbon fiber, autoclave cured, and finished with an automotive high-gloss clear coat.

Machined billet aluminum uprights and trunk mounts provide a rigid mounting structure, while stainless steel hardware is used throughout the assembly.

C8R-Inspired Design

The UCW combines its functional aerodynamic profile with a motorsport-inspired appearance designed to complement the aggressive proportions of the C8 Corvette. Vehicle scan data was used during development to achieve a precise, near-OEM fit and finish.

The wing can also serve as the rear component of a complete functional aero package alongside a front splitter, dive planes, side splitters, and rear diffuser.

Listed applications include C8 Stingray, Z06, E-Ray, ZR1, ZR1X, Grand Sport, and Grand Sport X, with both Coupe and HTC configurations listed. The wing was originally designed around the narrow-body Stingray application but is listed as fitting other C8 models as well.
